Where would her spirit return
once she's released
to find her way home?
How will she know
where she needs to be:
on which land,
beside which sea?
I imagine her soul
winging home to the mountain
she saw as a mother
protecting her child.
I'd like to think
she was in the embrace
of old Barmoya,
safely arrived...
Her spirit returns to the mountain
