where are you now?
some say she was a bluff
a scarecrow

the distance of the years
and that of miles
has stolen looney chirrups
and soothing smiles

that girl, she was like sand
on seashore meadow
she ran, she cried, she spent
in april sweater

i lost her on the way
just in a second
her everlasting may
and my november

she vanished with a kiss
when i was blind
no clues, no faint hints
she left me no signs

i got what i deserved
for being heartless
and wondergirl dissolved
in memories subtle

she paints her simple drafts
on sandy easels
the girl who makes me laugh
and cry so easy
