Sue s summer

For reasons yet unknown
To little Sue alone
The shining sun leaves spots
Of blue forget-me-nots

On juicy bright green grass
Full of the noisy fuss
Of beatles and red ants
Who build the sugar plants

And merry-go-arounds
On very simple grounds
Of summer being in bloom
And smelling of porfume

Of mushrooms and primrose
And river that's so close
When heat of day is high
In honey-sweet July
