What a lovely night, my dear!
What a pleasant time to meet!
So, let's go together near
Lonely trees along the street.
In the sky the stars are shining
And the moon is lighting street.
I will show you, oh my darling,
That night walk is real treet.
Look around: the lamps are breaking
The night gloom by their light.
There is no wind, leaves aren't shaking
And the town is dark and quiet.
Yellow windows of the houses
See off us to central park
That still waits for us in darkness,
That's mysterious and dark.
In the park we'll walk for hours
On the footpath near trees,
Which look like enormous towers,
Marble coloums, like in Greece.
As you see, today the weather
Just for us is mild and calm.
We will sit on bench together
Just until sunrise will come.
