Dendroid maiden
Enchanted by glorious night,
But in shadows some voices were talking
And eyes watching her in delight.
As she was enjoying the nature,
Those evil eyes coloured in red;
She thought "What a splendid adventure!"...
The beast followed path of her scent.
In moonlight, she bloomed like a rose,
The tribute to dark forest's might;
The white fangs were shining of those,
Who were so anxious to bite.
And, blinded by beauty of flowers,
She couldn't see clouds of gloom;
The rain fell on earth in black colours,
Predicting her imminent doom.
Her mind was bewitched by the lightning...
She stopped in the dark and exclaimed:
"Oh, Forest, you're so almighty,
Could I be the part of Your fame?"...
The wind from the fog brought an answer:
"My child, you're already one."
Instantly, the ancient tree's branches
Entwined around her arms.
She stood with her face so pale,
Her skin slowly turned into bark,
The blood changed to sap, she inhaled
The vapours of trees in the dark...
