Fairy tales
One lovely autumn morn.
That's Andersen here in my hands,
The book so old and worn.
And all day long, almost all time
I read, recite and read.
And even if it was a crime,
No one could me forbid.
The True Princess and Nightingale,
The Angel and the Death,
Cruel Amour and little Match Girl -
I read, keeping my breath.
The children's tales are like escape
From cares of this world.
I read, while eating a fresh grape,
And catch up every word.
"I'm like a little mermaid", -
This suddenly I thought.
And with the daybreak I will fade,
And through the oceans I will wade
To hide you from the cold.
