Fading

Mental exhaustion
Caused by misfortune.
Step by step, I’m going off my head,
Almost totally mad.
Consciousness fading,
Colours all blending,
Sunrays are burning my memory down.
Can you now draw a line?
Thoughts in decline,
Something inside
Is to be my last and only guide…

I used to be harmless and love Mother Earth,
I enjoyed every day and I thought it was worth
Outbursts of my rapture, but what is it now?
Fading world, fading mind, fading consciousness. How
Could it be? Tell me please, dear guest.
Don’t reject in a hurry this humble request.
Where’s reality? Show me this long thorny path!
But in terrible silence I hear you laugh…

Total rejection,
Gray scale reflection –
The mirror shows me my wistful glance
Fading at once.
Delicate features,
What a poor creature
With tears falling on the white breast
Within the mist,
Dusk or at least
Streams of the rain.
No-one can relieve or soothe my pain…
