The English Language. Chapter 2. Less Chaos

Last time the difference we got through
Between WE'RE DOING and WE DO
I DO when meaning every time
Right now I AM just EATING lime

As I WAS DOING yesterday
At 10:15. That was okay.
When no moment's mentioned but
Just plain fact: I DID we cut.
I WROTE 3 poems yesterday,
Yet I WAS WRITING, when you came.

We also mentioned HAVING DONE
As something WE HAVE DONE by now.
Yet by the time you came I HAD
Already WRITTEN something mad.

Tomorrow by the time you come
Some other things I WILL HAVE... DONE.

Conclusion isn't hard to make,
Make sure that no mistakes you make:

I DO, I DID, I'LL DO are facts
We call them ACTIONS. Usual steps.
I AM, I WAS and I WILL BE...
Are STATES for DOING, let's agree.
I HAVE, I HAD and I WILL HAVE...
Are SAVINGS, and that's all we have
Discussed today that's on, so far.
Now time is up, I hope you are
Less sure that English is that hard
So see you next time, just be smart!
