A joke
Asked a merchant selling liquor.
Even though devoid of wrinkles,
Like the Galaxy's Big Bang,
I am ancient and well-versed
Both in prophecies and curses,
Young enough to still be saucy
(Wit is yet another curse).
I am ageless, I am ripe,
Old enough to be your mother,
Young enough to be your lover,
Only you are not my type.
Be the hour light or grim,
I retain my sense of humour.
He mistook me for a loonie,
Asked to show him my ID.
