I’m still, yet my world
spins in slow motion
How I long to be in your presence
for one more second
For a moment more
I long for your calm
to drape my heart
For it beats for you
Your spirit is
washing over me
I’m like a caterpillar
shedding its layers
I do not need them anymore
for I am new
You have made me your butterfly
Given wings to spread and fly
Given me color to spread
all over the world
I am new, a caterpillar
I will no longer be
I have given you my heart
And all that is within
I surrender all to you
I am Still
