Mummy s Lullaby

There were the magic rhymes
In pre-historic times.
Hush, listen, don't you cry -
Your Mummy's lullaby.

She sang of olden days,
Of charmin' far-aways,
The brave, the kings, and ones
Who stayed alive by chance.

And years of joy and tears,
And distant sleepin' seas...
Your Mummy sang of rains
And gothic-rocky chains.

Oh, was an angel then
On gloomy Isle of Man.
His cradle swung at night
In depth of Mummy's light.

She's queen of wonderland,
Her beauty never end.
And, trapped by sea of life,
With her you will survive.

Hush baby, don't you cry,
Your Mummy's lullaby
Will sound in days of grief,
You won't lose relief.
