"What's happening to my romances?" -
I wondered, dazed, confused and lusting.
I hope I haven't found the answer,
Because the answer is disgusting.
The spider watches, shadows glisten,
Scripts are unstoppable and mocking,
Thus a misguided former mistress
Becomes a victim of a stalker.
I'd rather be discarded, used, and
Forgotten, bitterly ill-fated.
I'd rather diagnose delusions,
Preferring "mad" to "nauseated".
