All that I am

I am a face in shattered mirror
I am reflection in a lake
A silent shadow on the wall
And aging photographs that flake

My soul's a piece of broken glass
A drop of freezing autumn rain
A chandelier with no lamp
And in the moonlight fading stain

My heart's a sword in rusty scabbard
An empty pouch with no straps
A vulture tethered to the post
A warrior taking baby steps

My mind's a whirpool of the thoughts
A growing archive of regrets
A tattered parchment smudged with tears
A twisted riddle no one gets

A nameless face among the millions
A tiny passage in a book...
I bet you'd see all that I am
If you just take a better look

I think a better look
is not enough to see
what is deep in your soul
and whom you want to be...

That's what I think :))

You might be right, but I think it's a question of REALLY looking =)

Thanx for your thoughts :)
