Where sanity's delirious
Where scattered fears roam
A world of wrong decisions
And feelings lost in soot
Of phantom expectations
Of thoughts that skid & scoot
A world of scowling aggravation
And spirits sagging to the floor
Of eery hallways, twists & turns
Of sadness greedy, still, for more
A world of lurking shadows
A place where silence cried...
