Magic violin - after N. Gumilev
You're jealous like the sun
Don't ask me for this violin
You don't know all the suffering
The curse of a chosen one
My child, I must warn you -
Once violin's in your hands
You'll pay your peace to come through
The play where beasts surround you
Bewitched by magic wand
These strings will sing and tremor
And cry like desperate rain
Enchant the minds with fever
By crazy diamond's glamor
Unbreast the hearts with pain
But, child, when you'll stop then
You won't breathe evermore -
The wild beasts hold your neck then
And strangle with obsession
All dreams you're living for
And you will know the secret
Used to laugh in the end
And finger on the trigger
Instead of fallen stringbow
Will stamp your childhood's end
So, child, walk away now!
No joy here you can get!
But I see - you're still smiling...
Take now the magic violin
Die proud with fatal friend!
