I love you, and I let you go

I love you, yet I'm in despair
Because relations were not fair;
I knew it would be so.
At first together we had fun,
But things we did can't be undone -
My heart now hangs so low.

I love you, even if don't you,
That crazy thing I'm going through -
Avoiding what I need.
My pain is nothing, yours is mine,
I'm sure that things will soon be fine,
My heart will stop to bleed.

I love you, life will carry on,
And things we shared will soon be gone -
They're sure to leave some scars.
And, maybe, you will never know -
I love you, and I let you go:
May lucky be your stars!
