Tears in my dreams
Won't leave me alone.
They bring the fear.
Tears in my dreams...

I don't feel heartbeat
Playing along.
Who could I blame?
Could it be me?

Those perfect beings
Floating around...
I'm thankful for pain,
For the firm ground.

They're moving forward,
I'm standing still.
I wish that I, too,
Had the same will.

Like useless tree
In a bright garden,
Wants to be free -
Here, 'till it's rotten.

Leafs - in the clouds,
Embracing Sun,
Grows from the ground,
Roots dig deep down.

Surrounded with rainbow,
It's brown, it brings shade,
It's a good shelter
With broken faith.

Tree looks immortal,
Powerful, wise,
Wrinkled from pain,
With closed-shut eyes...

And then I wake up.
It's dark, I'm alone -
I don't feel heartbeat
Playing along.

I cannot move,
My eyes start to shake,
Burning with pain
Of no tears left to shed.

Not with my ears,
But with my mind
I hear that scream...
Same every time.

Noise from my fears,
Shout for some hope...
Tears in my dreams!
