An ungrateful daughter

A big beautiful garden… High trees with yellow crowns were resting under friendly autumn sun… Pretty flowers were noisy as if they were whispering about something… A lonely woman was sitting on the bench near the quiet stream… She was crying bitterly…
Suddenly someone touched her shoulder… It was her eldest daughter, Alice. It was she, who made her crying…
- Muuum?… Stop crying! Why can`t you understand that it is MY life and I can do anything I want! And the problems caused by any my decision will be also mine!

- It`s all song and dance! It`s not only your life, but mine too! Since your childhood I have been always taking care of you, thinking of you, doing everything for you and for your sisters! Haven`t I earned any respect from you?!... For your whole life I`ve been pinning my hopes only on you as I`ve always thought you to be the most responsible, the cleverest of my daughters!

- Don`t give me that! I`m not a silly child already. During all my life you`ve been making me to do everything instead of you, all the housework, all the care of my sisters, everything… everything was under MY duty! And you… you`ve always been so kind, so well-wishing, so hospitable… but not to me! To any person except me! All that men, who were coming to our house… How? How could you bring them and spend your time with them while all my little sisters were there? And tell me – who is my father? Is he one of that old farts?!

- Don`t speak to me in such a manner! I`m your mother!

- I`m out with it! For all my life I was dreaming to be a painter. And now my dream comes true… I`ve left the university for my dream…The only thing I`m worried about is the fact, how my sisters will live further…

- So… Do what your mind considers to be reasonable! Have a thought about your little sisters! Do it for them… please… Enter the university again!

- Ok… I`ll fire a short…

- My darling, I knew that you are a clever girl!
It was a beautiful day… All the city was covered with sunshine… A happy girl was returning home after having entered the college…
It was a college of arts…
