The reassuring presence...
The melody in mind,
The words without essence...
And waltzing without haste
And swaying while embracing,
Your hand firm on my waist,
Your gentle breath caressing.
But just as we begin
To kiss, your eyes still laughing
All turns into a dream
And crumbles into nothing...
The mirrors on the wall
There is but my reflection...
The phantoms of the hall
Enhancing the deception...
Waltzing with a dream
