About Mark and Jill
Not far from the metro station
You’ve been gladly laughing, eating a chocolate muffin, expressing pure attraction
Sitting backward, doing nothing, I was staring at you, losing my passion.
Your girlfriends were leaving and I had a filling that you stood on purpose
I woke up, came near and told to you ear that you were a cute rose
I froze waiting thankyous, the way I have got used, but you made me confused
As if I had you abused, I just had to excuse, myself, and get off.
Sometimes love is rough!
Next time I had met you, I walked with my nephew, in a town park, when it started getting dark
And I’ve got to mark that you looked twice better and that did big matter for me and my eyes,
I thought: “Just fool never tries!” and asked my small nephew stop eating his fries.
He came to you smiling, you were dressed so funny, he told you bout that.
You could not help melting in front of a tad!
I took out a flower, I hid in the dark, your eyes seemed to spark
“Hi! My name is Mark!”
You told with a will, that your name was Jill
“You know what, Jill? We've just been up to go grab some meal
and if you feel like coming, then come along, cause we are starving.
You looked so charming with a flower
And in an hour I was gathering all the power I had had to make you smile, to make you glad.
That’s a story how they met.
