Monster

You see the monster in front of your face
You see her in a dress of silk and lace
She helds tight her shield and sharp sword
Looking at those she’d killed by a word

She spits on a body of her dead friend
She slayed him for her own happy end
Her emerald crown now dyed in red
Long lost soul she wants to forget

She seats on a throne of bones and flesh
Her enemies had no chance to survive
Hail the queen of a newly world demise

She is the one
They have to blame
She is the one
They long to tame
She never stops
Until she wins
The final battle
Of her dreams

She lost her lover in a so-called heaven
He left her in dankness, this cruel demon
He gave her the crown of this kingdom
And she gave for it her soul and freedom

Now you see her kneeling in tears
In the middle of twenty bloody seas
She ripped her heart away from the chest
Trying to give it a peace and a rest

You see the monster in front of your face
The mirror reflects you fallen from grace

You look in the mirror — this monster is you
