Rushing Waves
About the coming day.
The great wild ship pass through the wall
And took me on his way.
I wasn't old for looking gold
To my exhausted soul.
The huge balloon would come and hold
My ghostly world at all.
Chorus:
So rushing waves have reached a shore,
And bygone days have met some more.
The rise and fall of stormy tides -
They look like my falls and my flights.
So rushing waves have reached a shore,
I've just been here and no more.
You'll draw the dreams of mine, my friend,
Just on a sand...
And my sweet dreams live up to now
Inside my eager heart.
But that one ship floats anyhow
And really comes apart.
The huge balloon flies from the skies,
Perhaps, to someone else.
I wave my hand to happy guys,
But trust in my success.
Chorus.
