A Faded Love

I laid the bricks of love
But the walls weren’t getting tall.
I laid the bricks of love but
Those walls were doomed to fall

I cried because of fear
Which seized me from inside
Until it disappeared
To depths of broken heart …

From passion to aversion
Did anyone expect?
Tiff was a mortal portion
Of poison I once had

But still I miss our forest
Where others have no share
Our trees, our birds and the moments
We used to be a pair.
