I am looking for you

I`m looking for you under the cover of night.
I must keep silence to stay hidden.
I mustn`t laugh. So I`ll be queit
A good loud laugh is forbidden.
You are waiting somebody to meet.
You are somewhere right ahead.
But tonight I will try to submit
That I can be your fellow-traveller, and that`s not bad.
We`ll go in passing in the night,
There isn`t a hint of light…
May be if there were our love so ardent
It would difract the black like a lantern
And it wouldn`t be so extremely dark…

You have intriguing poetry and your translations of your own poems into English are quite a good effort. :) This one is of particular merit. Your rhymes are quite good for the most part ('ardent-lantern' is rough)and although the rhythm suffers in places, this is a very interesting translation. Well done!!
