I can only trust Anthony Burgess and Stanley Kubrick on that. ;-) Ironically my real-life name is Alex, but I've never taken part in a street gang. :-)
The piece is more related to violence in art though. Art compensates for what people lack in reality. (And in spite of the common belief, our world of the present is quite a peaceful place in comparison with what our ancestors probably had to endure.)
