Зима камiнна

*** Temp***
a yellow cow gives suck
to a snow-white heifer
I'm not blue or stark
practicing Zen
and echoes

I meditate on dots
on commas and stresses
repudiating doubts
home and a hand
in tresses

wandering through a field
leaving my paint and falling
flaking to make a yield
wind is
a grater-golem

blood is so blue indeed
flow of the words in yellow
I’ll push them out of read
when grass is dead
and time stays shallow

Sergiy Tatchyn is one of the most talented people in Ukraine who combine the arts of poetry and painting. He paints with words and versifies his brushstrokes. As his friend, peer, and pen pal, I am thankful to my destiny that I’ve had a chance to know him – to read his poetry, to enjoy his artwork.
Hi, my name is Iouri Lazirko. I live and work in New Jersey. One of my favorite hobbies is Poetry. In addition to writing it, I enjoy translating the work of others. It’s quite possible that one day I’ll fold my sleeves and help Sergiy’s verses to sound in English.
You might be aware of the recent tragic, hope-drawing, and hope-driving events in Ukraine. Yes, the country finally finds its way to become a democratic state and join the truly free Western Nations. Nonetheless, being in the transition doesn’t stop any artistic events from blooming. I won’t start enthusing about the project – you can run your eye over it in the “abouts”. I wish him the best of luck – to succeed in reaching the project's goal.
Thank you for your time and have a great day.
