Anny's at the old people's home,
That's to the south, near Rome.
Her terraced house got knocked down,
And she moved to other town.
She bought a house with her aunt.
It was cheap-they've got a grant.
And though it trembled like a leaf,
It was still a place to live.
They heard of do-it-yourself man
And asked him nicely to help them.
He fixed the windows in the lounge
And painted ceilings with a sponge.
But when the guy was changing wire,
A little spark began a fire.
So Anny's in the old people's home,
Thats to the south, near Rome.
