When we are aging, tired and angry

When we are aging, tired and angry,
We dream of simpler, even shorter life.
Why should we wait in lasting trouble and sorrow?
Why should postpone inevitable end?

Life isn't fun, it is a harmful duty,
Fulfilled in illusions and mistakes.
In illness and in pain, we serve the purpose,
Which can't be known by the mundane folk.

Although it's hard, you are obliged to live it:
You're breathing still - it means that you are needed!
