Oh, bitter, silly, and burnt-out love

Oh, bitter, silly, and burnt-out love,
It's lighter than the flame in the beginning;
Declines, releasing my unhappy days
From dictatorial, oppressing power.

From thoughts about him and him alone,
From boiling mind, both focused and restless,
From the devotion which he doesn't need,
From stubborn passion on the edge of madness,

I learn how to forget, how to unlove,
How to detach my heart and keep it silent,
I learn again, repeating my mistakes,
It's all the same, unpass'd, postponed lesson.

I stay alone, I strive to keep some peace,
Nay, I don't think about what I miss.
