To dedicate oneself to modern science

To dedicate oneself to modern science,
To understand the subjects and the matters,
The mind should be as vivid as a stream,
Devoid of sleepy peace and never bored.

The luck is ever helpful in research,
Serves better than the fate (that's outdated);
The scientist will develop and create,
Devices, theorems and useful papers.

But this objective world has little faults:
Here, neither sword nor lyre can be useful,
It's very dry and mentally advanc'd
Emotions, useless, cannot be involved.

I do observe, I try to analyse,
But this is not the place where heart belong to.
