Nightmare

I wanted to shout - but i had no voice,
I wanted to see - eyes my were as if blind.
I wanted to choose - but had no any choice.
My ears became deaf and seemed dying my mind.

I wanted to go - there was no any way,
I wanted to hear you - but you didn't call.
I wanted to stop - there was no place to stay.
And no one could help me - I'd vanished for all...

I felt you so close, but could not reach your hand,
The more I was trying, the further you seemed.
Was listening to you, but could not understand.
Looked into your eyes - there was nothing to see.

I've lost any hope, disappeared my shade,
The horizon'd hidden the light of red sun.
The darkness surrounded me, all died away.
I was in nightmare, from which couldn't run...

And only your smile had remained in my brain -
It looked now more ominous Cheshire Cat's smile.
And I understood - all my hopes were so vain
And empty, that it was more easy to die...
