My sweetheart,
Tonight I saw something I had never seen before.
I saw our love, in all its beauty,
Right in front of our eyes.
Standing in the circle holding hands
With us and our friends,
Giving us strength and hope.
My darling,
It was so close I could feel its warmth
So real I could touch its cloth…
We’ve always known it was there,
That our love was in the air
But tonight it came down to us.
Did you know it’s much bigger than our pain?
Did you know it’s much louder than the rain?
Did you see it too?
I can’t deny I still have fear,
But feeling our love so near,
So palpable I hear its beat,
Makes the circle complete.
