Close To Scotland, Little Piece Of Dry Land
Was Existing In The Normal Way.
That’s No News! It’s Called The Gruinard Island
All Was Good Somehow But One Day …

In The Overcast October Morning
Of The Distant Nineteen Fourty One.
Group Of English Scientists Took A Journey
To The Gruinard Island, Not For Fun.

They Brought Vessel Filled Unknown Compound
To The Island, When They Were Received,
In The Place Full Of The Life Around
They Presented Him With Their Gift/

Not Long After, Thanks To Preparation,
Island Managed To Lose All His Goats
And, Besides, To Get Annihilation
Of The Vegetation Afterwards.

T’was First Test Of Biologic Weapon
Killing All The Living Under Sun,
But The World’s Not Known It Would So Happen
That He Would Be Sorry ’bout Done!

Even Now Nothing Can Live There –
Island’s Soil Is Poisoned, Lain In State!
