Enigma

I name you Enigma, orchid’s dream.
You glow and your fire burns within.
Your poignant beauty hurts from inside.
Feelings or duty? Yet to decide.

You walk through the orchard all alone,
While cherries are falling in millions.
Cherries are falling to your feet.
Some are so bitter; some are so sweet.

And just like Enigma, orchid’s dream,
You live without and burn within.
