Couplet: I had a dream today at night
When stars were shining bright.
I only heard your voice and felt
The warmth of your hand.
But then I felt your lips,
And you wanted to kiss
Me, but the moon didn’t let.
And then you lovely told me
You would always be with me.
You gently said: “I love you, baby
So, don’t you see?”
And I was soon surprised
When I woke up, realised
That it was only a dream.
Chorus: It only was a dream,
And you, too, were a dream.
But I ask the sun to fall,
Ask the moon to light my soul
To see you again in my dream
It was only, only the dream,
But I love you like you’re real.
In my heart you are the one.
So, I’m asking the dream to come.
Couplet: At sunset, when the moon is so bright,
And the lights turning on on the street,
When the star fall in the sky,
I know that you’ll come to me.
