Driving through the desert with an empty heart

Driving through the desert with an empty heart,
Not a believer but looking for God.
His soul is among those who are already gone
Driving through the desert to find where he belongs.
Soft voice leading his way
Not pushing him but making him obey.
Day is almost through, Sun is almost burnt
Into the desert driving alone...
Not afraid to disappear among the endless sand.
Night is coming soon, maybe he will find a friend.
Clouds are motionless, new moon
Where he going he will find out soon.
Stopped on the hill looking into the dark
He is talking to the stars with his empty heart.
Presence in the air of something he was waiting for.
No one is driving through the desert anymore...
