On the footsteps of Catullus

Worthily accept the moment of parting and be subdued to the loss.

To lose so to lose not simple glass, but diamonds.
 To lose, so the dearest, and it is not simple girl friend,

not gladness it's to lose, and with the life always to say goodbye.
Then only you life is worthy, when you do not fear loss.

And life you do not scold for this, so that it would not happen of you,
So that it would not happen of you, you only laugh and cry,

and again open your embrace reveal to happiness, love and to parting.

Достойно прими миг прощанья и смирись ты с потерей.
И знай, что придётся ещё не раз терять, то, что лучшее в мире.

Терять так терять, не простые стекляшки, алмазы.
Терять, так любимую самую, а не просто подружку,

не радость свою потерять, а с жизнью всё время прощаться.
Тогда лишь ты жизни достоин, когда не боишься потери,

и жизнь не ругаешь за это, чтобы с тобой не случилось,
Чтобы с тобой не случилось, ты только смеёшься и плачешь,

и снова объятья свои раскрываешь счастью, любви и прощанью.
