Look around You
Look around you, during this day,
At the sun, the grass, as the Butterflies play.
Take in the beauty which is often overlooked,
Such as the trees as they are growing, maybe the noise from a brook.
Hear the birds singing there blusterous songs,
All is in it's place, where it belongs.
Carried up in the senses, one can truely believe,
That here, within nature, there is a reprieve.
Let my soul be carried on the whisps of the wind,
And let my eyes remain open never to close once again.
Because surely to see what is precious and true,
All you need is to look around you!
