Если бы мухи дружили с шмелями,
А с дикообразами совы,
Если бы стали дома кораблями,
А овцами стали коровы,
Если б на людях ездили кони,
А лютики ели быков,
Если бы вздумалось лаять вороне,
А крысам ловить котов,
Если б меняли детей на свинину,
На сало, на масло, на сыр,
Если бы женщиной стал вдруг мужчина,
Перевернулся бы мир!
Но вот чудеса! Если б это случилось,
Я б был благодарен судьбе:
Ведь я бы всех этих вещей не заметил,
Ведь был бы и я не в себе.

If the pony rode his master;
If the buttercups ate the cows;

If a gentleman, sir, was a lady -
The world would be Upside-Down!
If any of all these wonders
Should ever come about,
I should not consider them blunders,
For I should be Inside-Out!
