Старый король
По имени Коль
Повеселиться любил.
Послал он за трубкой,
Послал он за кубком
И скрипачей пригласил.

Скрипки играли,
Люди плясали,
Би-ли-ли, би-ли-ли, бил!
А музыканты
В лентах и бантах
Жарили, что было сил!

Was a merry old soul,

Went the fiddlers.
