How did I mistakenly pass you by
While you sat and thoughtfully watched me leave?
Was I only vanishing inside your eyes
Or did I in fact manage to coexist?
Some of us observe what one can never see;
Others try to understand what living's for.
But the facts are clear: no matter where you stand
You are not immune to catching this disease...
Loyal Sun behind me tries to lead my way
And perhaps I'll never know another life,
But I wear intensity on wind-dried lips
And deny insanity for what has passed.
Are we two lost souls inside a fishing net
Or finite thought processes beyond belief?
There is nothing else or do I just forget
Staring into late last night through thick blue smoke..?
