And flies so high
But it lives less
Than butterfly.
The sense and taste
Of middle age
Contains pain, passion,
Wisdom, rage,
The joy and charm
Of flowing life
The bitter scorn
Of constant strife.
I wish you both
Be nice as rose
And wise without
Dismay and pose.
