Don’t trust me when I call you “honey”.
I’ll never tell the truth again.
I know: main thing for you is money.
For me this knowledge is a pain.

You’ll try to stop me when I’ll leave you.
You’ll have no chances. Not a few.
 I have decided to be happy.
The only thing: without you.

Oh it's sad when relationships end and we find the person that we thought we knew does not exist. But, it is wonderful when we can laugh about them in retrospect and write something as witty and saddly humorous as this. "Don't trust me when I call you honey." says it all! .......It was a pleasure to read your poem........Until we meet again in word.......Sue
