My little friend, you’ve gone forever.
Small piece of mine is dead with you.
I have still memories of us together
Those were the moments quite a few.
The close connection, an understanding
Despite your difference and type
I kept you close to heart for tending
You warmed it up if it was griped.
A funny creature, soft and kind
But squeaky thing who sneaks around.
I feel regret that I won't find
Someone who is stronger bound.
