Zombie

The lonely light of rising moon
Falls down to earth piercing the night.
But clouds will fill the dark sky soon,
To fade the picture, steal the sight.

The blurry landscape is alive:
The forests edge whispers in fear,
The cemetery’s crosses dive
Into dead earth, from which they peer.

A silent step, rustle of cloak
Revealed the spoiled and evil soul.
And from eternal sleep awoke
Who once was man, now rotten foul.

With red light in his eyes he glanced
At living world, sleeping in peace.
Fulfilled with fury and intense
To kill men till he’ll be released.
