No words translation of the poem by I. Gusarov
It seems to me that you don’t care;
Who knows? I may be right.
You sleepily look outside,
It’s raining in the night.
You notice warmth in someone’s eyes -
It’s but a strange reflection.
A tear is sliding down the glass -
A natural perfection.
The water’s dripping on my clothes,
I’m catlike in the dark.
Peering at houses, there it is:
Your window, like a mark.
I see the shadow from your hair,
I thought I heard your sigh.
I cannot feel the icy tears.
You know I did not lie.
You look with sadness through the rain,
A wall of little tears.
Your handkerchief wipes these tears off,
Destroying all your fears.
Your hand is reaching for the phone,
I know who you will call.
Three simple little words you said,
Three words that changed it all.
I was too late to get the phone;
The rain was getting quiet…
My thoughts were organized and cool,
But in my heart – a riot.

Tho, being honest, the last two lines are a bit too different.. They've changed the meening of the poem (to my mind!).
Anyway, it was a successful attempt to translate someone's poem.

I can't call this a good translation. This is more of an interpretation, or poem on the theme. I just liked Igor's poem, and i wanted to express it in more than a review. I sometimes do that =)
