‘s outside the window seal.
Nippy eyes – two nighty pearls,
Dancing bacchic Scottish reel.
Come to me, my little one,
‘ve got no means of hurting you.
Closer, closer, I won’t shun,
For we all have got to chew.
Sweet Annette, have off’d you food,
She’s good cook, I’ve ‘joyed her meals.
She’s good-natured, I conclude,
Of high morals and ideals.
People kill, if people can,
Just to better their lives.
Rodent, insect, woman, man,
God is willing, all contrives.
Baby rat, don’t be upset,
Eat your poison, rest in peace.
You will meet the sweet Annette,
Humans are what rodent is.

What did you try to say? That we all are murderers?
Yours riddled,

Mr. Simpleton is a hero of my new cycle; he sees everything through a glass of wicked wisdom, which is a true wit hidden inside the child’s brain, slightly topped with insanity. In short, he tries to turn inevitable into acceptable by turning the tables sides up and down, until one can see all shapes and forms the tables can get into, thus leaving a reader in the state of wonder of what the ‘ell he just saw. And yes, this particular view of Mr. Simpleton shows how humans better lives of selves and others by installing laws corporal upon barriers that at times are human too.
