Ты жемчуга достойна Her breast is fit for pearls - Emily Dickins

***
оригинал:

Her breast is fit for pearls,
But I was not a `Diver' -
Her brow is fit for thrones
But I have not a crest.
Her heart is fit for home -
I - a Sparrow - build there
Sweet twigs and twine
My perennial nest.

Please look at the third line of the original text. Are you sure it says "thrones"? Can it possibly be "thorns"? Sorry if I am wrong but it sounds more logical.

Thanks for your note. I cheked with my source, it was an internet site of lesbian poetry. it says "thrones". But your thought is quite interesting, the verse may get othe accents and maybe meanings. I will definitely find other sourses. WOuld be fine if you could look for it also.
