Life
Awakens me early in the morning.
But I still keep my eyes half open,
Unable to move and get up.
A sunray has quickly sneaked in
Through the heavy solid curtains,
Leaving a trembling golden thread
On the warm, crumpled pillow.
Everything around is conquered by dreams
and captured by unearthly tranquility.
Only the random chirping of crickets
Breaks this brittle transparent silence.
There is an unsolved mystery
In the sleeping and awakening
It may turn into a complete oblivion
Or a painful resurrection.
I'm feeling empty and distracted/
I've fully distanced myself
From sad reminiscences,
Thrilling expectations
And the everyday fuss.
But what can be better than life?
Than the rustling of a butterfly's wings/
Fluttering so boldly and impatiently
Against the foggy window?
