Teenagers
Nevertheless I’m an ordinary stranger.
You dream to fly away, you make the last tug
Me and you, we all are simple teenagers.
You want to know more, you open a new book.
Everyday, tonight you wait for angels
I want to leave my room, I have my outlook
Tonight I’ll overcome all those dangers.
I hate the rules, the laws, the stupid question ‘why?’
I understand this all is not for ever
You like to live, to love and you don’t say goodbye
You and me, we are at a new level.
You are so right, I’m not, I know I am dark.
But at my night, you see it change nothing –
Just then we meet, we talk, we wander in the park
Or we watch the film about Buffy.
You wait for our kiss… look steadfastly at me
And find in me what they won’t notice
What have we now, teens? Just old jeans from ‘Lee’
We’ve overturned a page and it is 30th.
We cry, we play, we feel; we sing new songs all time
Everyday, tonight we make images
We trust in good luck and we don’t want the crime
All is for us, because we are teenagers.
